eds has been presented with some of the most prestigious awards known to its trade in recognition of the commitment to safety and quality exhibited whilst conducting decommissioning projects. As well as commendation from some of the worlds leading blue chip organisations, eds is accredited to the highest national and international measures and standards of safety and quality management in all areas of its work.

Some of these awards and accreditations are listed below:

Accreditation from the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) Site Audit Scheme. All NFDC members participate in the federation's scheme, with sites being audited annually. It recognises excellent management systems, site standards and safe working methods to ensure members are working to the highest standards in the industry

Arca Gold Award For Training 2009, for eds's consistently high standards of training over 2008/09

Demolition contractor of the year award at the Construction Industry Awards 2009, The Hard Hats.

BP HSSE-Diamond Award, which for eds's contribution towards remediation Management.

GSK Glaxosmith-which was an award for completing over 1,000,000 man hours with out any incidents.

British Sugar Safety Award, which was for completing the job with out any injury.

ISO 9001, which was given for eds's quality management system in all its areas of work.

ISO 14001, which was awarded for eds's environmental management system in all its areas of work.

OHSAS, which was awarded due to eds's Health & Safety management system in all its areas of work.

Shell Oil Refinery gave eds an award for having no injuries on site for the duration of the project, which lasted for 4 years.

ROSPA Gold Award and this award was given for eds's success in prevention of incidents.

These awards demonstrate the exceptional levels of quality, safety and efficiency achieved by eds in all areas of their work, and are indicative of the good relationships established between eds and their clients during the decommissioning process.
